Poema

i often wonder why symmetry is so crucial. there's something else, too - it is easy to get lost in such a big, big place.

to s.o.n.

practise in hypocrisy

come inside and take off your jacket

shred your dirty bits of road

come inside and sit by the fire

come inside and lighten your load.

don't you get tired of the singers and the sweepers

and the good-deed doers

and the helpers and the givers

and the goody two-shoers?

don't you wish these cedar-few

would drop all their bark and their needles too

and come and join the human crew?

and on that day, would you come too?
